February 21 2014 'the unspeakable'

As we got into Heddings, a pregnant lady got in and the driver insisted that she not sit in the front seats and that she take a window seat not the aisle. Comp  volunteered to give her seat, so I moved from the window and sat by the aisle.  La companera sat in the reserved seats in the middle. I tried to make some small talk about the driver really looking out for her, but she gave no response. At Foul Bay, Julianna and Perfume got in, Julianna was standing next to me and I offered to stand but she refused saying she was soon getting out by DHL she allowed me to hold the package she was carrying, as I heard her voice, it reminded me immediately of the the real Julianna at SRFL. Perfume was standing in front of Comp, at the Lenstec stop, when the bus cleared, Julianna got out and Perfume sat next to Comp, reading her customary, book. By this time  I had BBed NC, giving an update of events so far. The first speculation was that it was a different book, but on observation it was seen to be the same one ' Unspeakable' she had been reading for the last few weeks. I noticed that she was now at chapter 9.

NC on getting the update now understood the seating arrangements and commented how comp was sitting in the forbidden, next to the unspeakable which is unthinkable. I showed the comment to comp but she did not understand. It was only later on the trip when she saw the title to the book that the dots connected.

Comp sent a text to NC, using her "phone". It was amusing to see the chubby fingers trying to maneuver the small keypad and making the multiple taps to send a message.  This is the same phone that has the small edition printed hymnal on it. Such is the amusement that makes a dreary trip, bearable.

I arrived safely and in about 1 hour, a speedy trip for this time of day.

Wishing an OXO day to all!!

Blessings.
