Bus 1
6.30 Sam Lords
None of the regular friends today, row 2 girl moved to the other side and the others were no show. Bus driver's daughter got on at Cutters and Julianna and Unspeakable at Foul Bay. Of course, Unspeakable was standing next to my seat and I offered to hold her bag. I was sitting in at the window otherwise I would have stood up. The bus was crowded to capacity as normal, and at Durants the St Lawrence sisters got on minus little Jamilah. She must be sick, for she was absent for 2 days. At Oistin's the bus lightened and unspeakable got a seat. We both read for the remainder of the trip, I my news on the ipad, and unspeakable, her book, 'unspeakable'.
Bus 2
12.30 Sam Lords?
I left work early to go home to finish a project, I was glad to see a bus at the Sam Lords gate so I rushed to board it. At this time of the day, the road was light and the bus relatively empty, about 10 passengers. At Oistins, the bus kept straight instead of making the turn up Thornbury Hill and I was saying to myself, maybe the road was blocked and the driver was making a detour. It was only when it passed the turn to Miami Beach that I realized something was wrong. I quickly checked my ticket and to my horror the route was #13. The wrong bus!! I quickly got out and walked back to Oistins. It was the Silver Sands bus !!
Bus 3
1.30 Sam Lord's
After the trauma of the last bus, I was glad when the next bus that came was clearly marked #12, Sam Lord's Castle. Certain I was now on the right bus, I paid my fare and took a seat. On the way to the seat, I saw sis Hunte from Golan and as I sat behind her, I tapped her on the shoulder and said Hi. She responded also, with a nod of the head.
When I sat, I noticed something strange, Sis Hunte, looked slightly different in the profile. She wore a black beret, and had the same white hair, but the features were somehow different. IT WAS NOT SIS. HUNTE! The poor woman must have wondered who was the strange person that greeted her on the bus. She was however very gracious and made no fuss. Even as she left the bus in Foul Bus, she greeted me again as she exited.
IT WAS TRULY AN INTERESTING DAY OF TRAVEL!
¡Bendiciones! (Blessings!)
